Green, OH (September 7, 2025) – A tragic one-vehicle accident claimed the life of a 17-year-old boy early Sunday morning in Green. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened around 2 a.m. on South Arlington Road just south of Lake Breeze Drive.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the teen was driving a 2011 Suzuki Kizashi when he lost control of the vehicle. The car went off the right side of the roadway, struck a ditch, and overturned multiple times. Authorities confirmed the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. He was transported to Summa Akron City Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The Summit County Sheriff’s Office and Green Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
