Manchester, NJ (December 4, 2025) – Emergency crews responded to a serious crash involving three vehicles Tuesday morning that left one person injured and led to a temporary shutdown of Route 70 in the Whiting section of Manchester.
According to the New Jersey State Police, the accident occurred around 9:43 a.m. at the intersection of Route 70 and Hilltop Road. Officers arrived to find a 2017 gray Toyota Camry with front-end damage, a 2002 silver Dodge Caravan with extensive front and rear damage, and a 2016 gray Hyundai Accent that had left the roadway and ended up in a wooded area.
Investigators say the Dodge was preparing to turn left when it was rear-ended by the Toyota, pushing it into the eastbound lane, where it collided with the Hyundai. The Toyota’s driver, Boruch Bernstein, 36, and the Dodge’s driver, Angel Bravo-Flores, 22, were not hospitalized. Roger Striker, 85, who was driving the Hyundai, was transported to Community Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
