Kekoskee, WI (December 12, 2025) – A Wednesday morning crash involving three vehicles, including a semi-truck, sent two men to the hospital in Dodge County. The incident occurred December 10 around 5:44 a.m. on State Highway 28 near Old Highway 28, just east of Horicon in the Village of Kekoskee.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, a pickup truck and a car were traveling westbound on Highway 28 when the pickup driver attempted to pass. After overtaking the car, the 43-year-old pickup driver lost control, crossed into the eastbound lanes, and collided head-on with a semi-tractor trailer.
The pickup driver and the 37-year-old semi-truck driver were both transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the car, a 30-year-old man, was unharmed. Authorities noted that snow and blowing wind created hazardous road conditions at the time.
Highway 28 was shut down for approximately two-and-a-half hours during investigation and cleanup efforts.
