North Hollywood, CA (December 14, 2025) – A family heading home from work was injured early Friday morning, December 13, 2025, after a violent two-vehicle collision involving a truck and an SUV at the intersection of Burbank Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard in North Hollywood.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 2:15 a.m. when a truck carrying a family was struck after stopping at a red light. Upon receiving a green light and proceeding forward, the truck was hit by the SUV. The truck driver sustained facial injuries and reported that the family’s carpet cleaning equipment was destroyed in the impact.
The man’s brother was taken to a local hospital, while the driver of the SUV was also transported for treatment. The man’s father and family dog were uninjured. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the crash as a possible DUI.
