Highland, CA (October 17, 2025) – A tragic collision involving two vehicles claimed the lives of a man and a woman Wednesday afternoon in Highland, according to officials.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly accident occurred shortly after 1:45 p.m. on October 15 in the 26000 block of Baseline Street. The crash involved a black Infiniti sedan and a brown Mazda, both of which suffered heavy front-end damage.
Emergency personnel arrived quickly at the scene. The male driver of the Infiniti and his female passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Mazda survived but was transported to a local hospital with major injuries. Authorities have not yet released the names of those involved as an investigation remains ongoing.
