Brentwood, CA (September 16, 2025) – An elderly woman tragically lost her life, and an elderly man sustained life-threatening injuries in a serious crash in Brentwood on Friday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place just after 2:00 p.m. on September 13 in the 2500 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the deceased victim as 84-year-old Marlene Haberman.
Emergency responders arrived and found two heavily damaged vehicles. Haberman was pronounced dead at the scene. An 86-year-old man, whose relationship to the woman has not been confirmed, was transported to a nearby hospital in grave condition. The report did not state which vehicles the victims occupied.
