According to the New Jersey State Police, the crash occurred at approximately 6:45 p.m. on December 3 at the intersection of Prospect Street and Saddle River Road. Authorities said the woman was driving a Mercedes GLE and was pulling into a strip mall parking lot—reportedly after dropping off a child at a nearby karate school—when her vehicle was T-boned by a UPS truck.
Emergency crews from Glen Rock Police, local firefighters, and EMS units responded to the scene. Paramedics from The Valley Hospital treated the woman and transported her to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Fortunately, the child and the UPS driver were not hurt.
