Wadsworth, OH (May 14, 2025) – According to reports, a high-speed collision involving three vehicles claimed one life and injured two others Tuesday morning in Medina County.
The crash occurred just before 7 a.m. on May 13 along State Route 94, also known as High Street. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported that 23-year-old Jaden Flinders of Wooster was driving a Dodge Neon at a high rate of speed when he rear-ended a Ford Mustang.
The impact forced the Mustang off the roadway and into a utility pole. Moments later, the Dodge Neon veered left of center and collided head-on with a Ford F-250 pickup truck.
Flinders was transported to Wadsworth Rittman Hospital, where he later died from his injuries. The 18-year-old male driver of the Ford Mustang remains hospitalized at Akron General Hospital. The 37-year-old driver of the Ford F-250 was treated at the scene and released.
Investigations are ongoing.
