Victorville, CA (November 15, 2025) – A devastating two-vehicle crash in Victorville claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman and left another person injured Thursday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 1:00 p.m. on November 13, 2025, at the intersection of Ridgecrest Road and Elmwood Drive. Authorities say a gray Kia Seltos SUV was exiting Elmwood Drive, which is regulated by a stop sign, when it was struck by a northbound black Chevrolet Silverado pickup traveling on Ridgecrest Road.
The violent impact caused the SUV to overturn multiple times, ejecting the female driver from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has been withheld pending notification of family.
The male driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Both directions of Ridgecrest Road were closed for several hours as officers conducted an investigation into the cause of the crash.
