Yardley, PA (September 25, 2025) – Pennsylvania State Police have identified the woman killed in a wrong-way collision on Route 1 Tuesday afternoon as 81-year-old Vivian Angela Perri of Yardley.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose Barracks, troopers responded to the crash around 1:13 p.m. on September 24 near the Pennsylvania Avenue interchange by the Trenton-Morrisville Bridge.
Authorities say Perri was driving a 2024 Toyota GR86 northbound in the southbound lanes when she collided head-on with a tractor-trailer. Emergency crews transported her to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, where she was later pronounced deceased.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was also injured and taken to Jefferson Bucks Hospital in Falls Township. Their condition has not been released.
The incident remains under investigation by state troopers.
