According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the fatal incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. on November 2 in the 14340 block of Wallisville Road. Authorities said the child was walking through the lot with her mother and sibling when she stepped in front of a parked SUV. At that moment, another resident at the complex began driving the SUV forward and accidentally ran over the child.
Emergency responders rushed the toddler to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Her identity has not yet been publicly released.
