JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (January 4, 2025) – A serious crash involving two vehicles occurred Thursday morning on Missouri 110 at Upper Plattin Road in Jefferson County. The incident was reported at approximately 8:15 AM and resulted in multiple injuries.
Preliminary reports indicate that a 2023 Toyota Camry, driven by an 81-year-old male from De Soto, MO, was traveling southbound when it entered the path of a westbound 2006 Jeep Wrangler. The Jeep attempted to avoid the collision, but its front struck the front driver’s side of the Camry.
The Jeep’s driver, a 63-year-old female from Bonne Terre, MO, sustained moderate injuries. Two passengers in the Camry, a 79-year-old female and the driver himself, also suffered injuries. All three were transported by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South for treatment. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
