Alpine, TX (October 26, 2025) – An individual was hospitalized following a pedestrian-involved crash in Alpine on Friday afternoon.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident occurred around 1:44 p.m. on October 24 in the parking lot of the Family Dollar located on East Avenue E. Authorities reported that a 2019 Kia Sorento was turning into the lot when it struck a pedestrian who had just exited the store’s main entrance.
Emergency personnel arrived shortly after and transported the victim to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment. The extent of the injuries sustained has not been disclosed.
