Lehigh Township, PA (December 15, 2025) – A four-vehicle injury crash that occurred in Lehigh Township earlier this fall has led to felony charges after investigators determined impaired and aggressive driving played a role in the incident.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. on September 7 along Riverview Drive, also known as Route 145, near the Treichlers area. Authorities say a 2021 Hyundai Kona was traveling southbound when it crossed into oncoming lanes and struck multiple vehicles. The Hyundai first collided with a northbound 2025 Subaru Impreza, then a southbound 2025 Toyota Prius, and a northbound 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander.
The driver of the Mitsubishi suffered serious injuries and was transported to an area hospital for emergency treatment. The Hyundai driver was also hospitalized. The investigation remains ongoing.
