Plymouth, WI (June 11, 2025) – An 84-year-old woman from Elkhart Lake sustained serious injuries Tuesday afternoon after her vehicle collided with a dump truck at a rural intersection in Sheboygan County, authorities confirmed.
According to reports, the two-vehicle crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on June 10 at the intersection of State Highway 57 and County Road J in the town of Plymouth. A preliminary investigation by the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office revealed that the woman was driving northbound on State 57 and attempted to turn west onto County J when her car was struck by a southbound dump truck.
She was the sole occupant of the vehicle and had to be airlifted from the scene due to the severity of her injuries. The dump truck driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by ambulance.
The roadway was temporarily closed for emergency response and cleanup. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
