Bailey County, TX (August 6, 2025) — A fatal single-vehicle crash in Bailey County on Sunday afternoon claimed the life of a Muleshoe man, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
According to reports, the crash occurred at approximately 2:00 p.m. on August 3 along County Road 163 near County Road 1028. Authorities say 54-year-old Troy Moore was driving a 2006 Jeep southbound on CR 163 when he lost control of the vehicle.
Moore’s Jeep rolled, and he was pronounced deceased at the scene. Officials confirmed that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported. The Texas DPS continues to investigate the cause of the accident.
