Richardson, TX (October 31, 2024) – In Richardson, TX, authorities have confirmed the identities of the victims from a fatal traffic accident late Thursday night on North Central Expressway. The deceased include 19-year-old Alyia Khalid, 27-year-old Haley Taylor, and Taylor’s 6-year-old daughter.
Khalid was with family and friends, standing beside their disabled Cadillac in the HOV lane when a Lexus SUV collided with them from behind. Khalid was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following this, a Dodge sedan struck the Lexus, leading to a chain reaction that involved a Nissan sedan being hit by both the Dodge and an 18-wheeler that was traveling through the area at the time.
The driver of the Lexus, Haley Taylor, along with her young daughter, were taken to a hospital but unfortunately succumbed to their injuries.
