Toledo, OH (October 13, 2024) – A 39-year-old Toledo man has died, and three others were injured following a head-on collision in west Toledo on Friday night.
According to the Toledo Police Department, the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. when Billy Fell, of Toledo, was driving west on Laskey Road, west of Lewis Avenue. Fell’s vehicle collided head-on with another car.
Fell was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His passenger, 40-year-old Deshawn Joyce, also of Toledo, was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the second vehicle, 25-year-old Austin Ellis, sustained non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in Ellis’ car, 25-year-old Jonathon Hargrove, was taken to the hospital with what authorities describe as “possible serious injuries.”
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the accident.
