Mustang Ridge, TX (November 3, 2025) – A suspect is in custody following a serious crash involving multiple vehicles early Sunday morning on US Highway 183 in Mustang Ridge.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the incident occurred around 12:24 a.m. on November 3. Mustang Ridge police reported that a male driver involved in the crash fled the scene on foot, despite sustaining a head injury. Witnesses saw him walking southbound into the City of Mustang Ridge from the Maha area.
Officers quickly began searching the area and located the suspect by approximately 1:09 a.m. A passenger involved in the incident reportedly remains at large.
The crash resulted in the closure of all lanes on US 183 for over an hour. Roads were reopened to traffic at 1:54 a.m. Authorities have not yet released further details regarding injuries or vehicle involvement.
