Scurry County, TX (September 27, 2026) – An 18-year-old San Antonio man died after a single-vehicle rollover crash on U.S. Highway 84 late Friday night.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, troopers responded to the crash at approximately 10:00 p.m. on September 25 near U.S. Highway 84 and Farm-to-Market Road 1606.
Investigators identified the driver as James DiAngelo Brown Bakari. DPS reported that Bakari was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 84 in the passing lane when he lost control of the passenger car.
