Midland, TX (September 26, 2026) – A three-vehicle motorcycle accident on Business 20 in Midland claimed the life of 40-year-old Miguel Rodriguez on Monday afternoon, September 21. The crash occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. in the westbound lanes near mile marker 311.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a 2005 Nissan Frontier was traveling west in the inside lane when it slowed because of an accident ahead. Rodriguez, riding a 2026 Indian N26 motorcycle behind the Nissan, also reduced his speed as traffic slowed.

Rodriguez suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported. Authorities had not announced any arrests or charges in connection with the accident. The Texas Department of Public Safety continues to investigate the fatal crash.
