Santa Rosa, CA (August 19, 2025) – A young woman tragically died after being struck by a vehicle while walking her dog in a marked crosswalk in Santa Rosa last Thursday evening, according to police.

According to reports, 19-year-old Natalee Fisher was crossing from the north to the south side of West Steele Lane at around 7:25 p.m. on August 14, 2025, near Northwest Community Park when she was hit by a gray Honda traveling westbound.

Emergency crews transported Fisher to a nearby hospital where she succumbed to her injuries two days later, on Saturday. Her dog was also injured and was taken to a veterinarian for care.
