Torrance, CA (December 24, 2025) — A man was killed late Sunday night after being hit by a vehicle while walking across Sepulveda Boulevard in Torrance.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 11:25 p.m. on December 21 near the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Border Avenue. Officers from the Torrance Police Department responded to the scene and discovered the victim had been struck outside of a designated crosswalk.
The unidentified male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed the driver involved remained on site and cooperated with investigators. No signs of intoxication were observed, and no arrests have been made.
