St. George, UT (July 1, 2026) – A rollover crash at the intersection of Bluff Street and St. George Boulevard on Sunday afternoon sent four people to area hospitals after authorities said a driver entered the intersection against a red traffic signal.
According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the collision occurred shortly after 4 p.m. on June 28. Police reported that a Jeep Trailhawk was traveling west on St. George Boulevard and entered the Bluff Street intersection on a green light when a southbound Kia Optima allegedly ran a red light. The Kia struck the side of the Jeep with enough force to cause the SUV to spin and roll over.
The Jeep was occupied by one person, while four people were traveling in the Kia. Emergency responders transported the Kia’s driver to a local hospital by ambulance.
