Milwaukee, WI (October 29, 2025) — A tragic crash early Tuesday morning claimed the life of a Wauwatosa man when the pickup truck he was driving collided with a building in Milwaukee’s north side.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the incident occurred just before 1:00 a.m. on October 29 near the intersection of North 28th Street and West Lisbon Avenue. Authorities say 54-year-old Malcolm Malone Sr. veered into oncoming traffic before slamming into a vacant building.
Malone was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators believe he may have suffered a medical emergency just prior to the collision, although that has not yet been officially confirmed.
Witnesses rushed to assist and reported receiving CPR instructions from Malone’s OnStar system. Despite the efforts of several good Samaritans, they were unable to remove him safely from the truck due to the crash impact and damage to the driver’s seat.
The building was unoccupied, and no other injuries were reported.
