Philadelphia, PA (July 26, 2026) – A devastating single vehicle crash claimed the life of a 16 year old girl and left five other teenagers injured early Friday morning, July 24, along South Christopher Columbus Boulevard in South Philadelphia.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, emergency crews responded at approximately 1 a.m. to the 700 block of South Christopher Columbus Boulevard after receiving reports of a serious crash. Investigators said the vehicle was exiting Interstate 95 South at the Washington Avenue exit when it lost control while navigating the sharp curve onto Christopher Columbus Boulevard.
