Milton, MA (July 6, 2025) – A devastating head-on collision claimed two lives and left another person seriously injured Saturday afternoon on one of Milton’s well-traveled roads.
According to reports, the deadly accident occurred just before 4:30 p.m. on July 5 along Randolph Avenue, also known as Route 28, near Hillside Street. Police said a 47-year-old man was driving a Mercedes-Benz northbound when he collided head-on with a Toyota traveling in the opposite direction. The impact was so severe that debris scattered across the roadway and a vehicle engine was ejected into a nearby front yard.
The 71-year-old woman driving the Toyota and her 39-year-old male passenger both died from their injuries. The driver of the Mercedes sustained serious injuries and was transported to a Boston hospital for further care. Authorities noted that a third vehicle was also struck by debris from the crash, though no additional injuries were reported from that car.
