Cajon Pass, CA (October 17, 2025) – A tragic single-vehicle accident in Cajon Pass claimed the life of 56-year-old Sergio Flores Felix on Tuesday afternoon, as confirmed by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 1:14 p.m. on October 14 along northbound Interstate 15 near Highway 138. Investigators stated that Flores was driving at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his vehicle, which veered off the roadway and plunged down an embankment.
The vehicle eventually came to rest upside down in a creek bed. Emergency crews responded to the scene and had to extricate Flores from the wreckage. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the location.
