The driver of the Hyundai, identified only as a 91-year-old man from Boonton, suffered serious injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died. Officials also confirmed the driver of the Kia sustained minor injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment. No additional injuries were reported.
