Windham, NH (September 20, 2025) – A woman tragically lost her life Friday night following a devastating head-on collision on Route 111 near Fellows Road.
According to the Windham Police Department, emergency responders were dispatched to the scene around 10:20 p.m. on September 19, 2025. Upon arrival, crews found one vehicle facing east and an SUV facing west. The female driver of the SUV was trapped inside the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene due to the severity of her injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a man, was transported to Parkland Medical Center in Derry for treatment of injuries to his head, arm, and chest. His injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.
Route 111 was shut down between Fellows Road and Lowell Road for several hours and reopened around 1:30 a.m.
