Reading Township, PA (May 10, 2026) – One person was killed and at least four others were hospitalized Saturday morning following a serious two-vehicle collision in Reading Township that caused one vehicle to overturn near a residential property.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred shortly before 7:30 a.m. on May 9 at the intersection of Stoney Point Road and East Berlin Road in Adams County. Investigators said a vehicle traveling south on Stoney Point Road allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign before colliding with another vehicle traveling east on East Berlin Road.
Following the impact, the southbound vehicle reportedly rolled over and came to rest in the yard of a nearby home. Authorities confirmed that one passenger inside the overturned vehicle died at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver and another passenger from the overturned vehicle were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
