Berkeley, CA (October 10, 2025) – A man was hospitalized following a pedestrian crash that occurred at a busy Berkeley intersection on the evening of October 9.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Claremont Avenue and Ashby Avenue. A male pedestrian, estimated to be between 20 and 30 years old, was struck by a vehicle under circumstances that remain under investigation.
First responders quickly arrived and transported the injured man to Highland Hospital. He was reportedly conscious at the time of transport. The severity of his injuries has not been released.
The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No arrests have been reported at this time.
