According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the fatal crash occurred around 10:04 p.m. on October 19, 2025, in the area of West Sealy Avenue. Navareo Rodriquez was behind the wheel of a vehicle when, under still unclear circumstances, he stopped on the railroad tracks and was struck by an oncoming train.
