Anderson, TX (October 16, 2025) – A serious multi-vehicle crash in Grimes County left multiple people injured Monday afternoon, following a chain-reaction event involving a tractor-trailer on Texas 90 near County Road 180.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident unfolded when a Dodge Ram, stopped in the northbound lane preparing to turn onto County Road 180, was followed by a Chevrolet Malibu. A Peterbilt tractor-trailer traveling in the same direction reportedly failed to reduce speed in time. The truck driver swerved but lost control, and the trailer crossed into the southbound lanes, striking a Toyota Tacoma, a Lexus, and a Honda.
The male driver of the Tacoma sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to St. Joseph Regional Hospital in Bryan. A female front-seat passenger was flown to a hospital in Conroe, while a backseat passenger was transported by ambulance to St. Joseph’s in Bryan. Further injuries from other involved vehicles have not been confirmed.
