Los Angeles, California (May 30, 2026) – A fatal hit-and-run crash involving a motorcycle and a commercial truck claimed the life of a motorcyclist early Thursday morning in the Sun Valley area of Los Angeles. The collision occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. on May 28 near the intersection of Bradley Avenue and Tuxford Street.
According to the California Highway Patrol, investigators determined that a white 2017 Freightliner Cascadia truck was traveling northbound on Bradley Avenue and was making a left turn into a business property when the motorcyclist attempted to pass on the truck’s left side. Authorities said the motorcycle collided with the truck during the turn.
Following the crash, police reported that the truck driver continued onto the business property without stopping to provide assistance or exchange information.
